　　此時，蛋也煮好了，外婆就撈起一個的用紅紙沾水染成了紅色，再用干布擦拭干凈，裝進絡子里，掛在我脖子上。接著，外婆就往我兜里裝著瓜子、糖果、花生，我往往十分高興，因為這樣，我就可以和小伙伴們一起去看龍舟賽了。

　　外婆總是把我送到大門口，囑咐著要我快些回來吃粽子。我總是一溜煙就消失了。

　　小伙伴們此時都差不多到齊了，由鄰家的大姐姐當頭，領著我們這一群小毛孩到河邊看賽龍舟。由于河道較小，所以就只有兩條的龍舟，每條龍舟都有13個人，12個人劃槳，1個人打鼓喊口號，“一、二、嘿呦，一、二、快快、”12個皮膚黝黑的小伙子動作整齊地劃著，兩條龍舟你追我趕地向前駛去。

　　可是，小孩子會知道看什么呢？我們只不過圖個熱鬧罷了。女孩子一般看了一會兒，便覺得無趣了，就坐在一旁分享起零嘴，男孩子呢，則不然，他們總喜歡沿著岸邊追著龍舟跑，由于劃槳的人力度較大，幾乎每個男孩身上都有水花濺著的痕跡。
